Adam,
I have to agree that you should check out Visual MaxFrame.. the level one is FreeWare and very good... it gives you an excellent foundatin to work upon with all the applicatin services written for you.
THen, if you like it, and you want all the Forms, and lists, grids, and other stuff, you can upgrade to the ProVersion.
Then, there is CodeBook.. not free but for the price of the $30 book you can get that... And, Neon software makes a RAD tool based on and compliant with CodeBook... not really an ap gfenerator but alot of builders and such that automated alot of the drudge work you need to do for codebook.
I wish you luck in your search.
