Success!

First I tried the PACK MEMO, which generates an 'Invalid or missing memo field...' message. Since it's not missing, I suppose there may be some memo field corruption.

Then I try the ZAP, followed by APPEND FROM a backup. This worked with no errors. I then verified by running the SCAN..SCATTER...GATHER...ENDSCAN program and it also performed with no errors.

I am very happy this is working, but I wonder why the gather into an empty table did not. Any ideas?
