You still have and much more than before.

I think it's a question of misunderstanding and some assumptions. For example, before you had a combo of your forums, which was not even bound to your list of participation because of a small bug we never discovered. You also had no indication of the count of new messages in each of them. Now, visually without even changing forum, you get that filtered properly applied, the count of new messages and the ability to decide or not to have those forum new messages to be processed as read messages or not when you have finished. Basically, from what I have seen so far, the default forum of most members is set to automatic reset of new messages and expand so you visually see all new messages of that forum. Once you refresh, they go away. For other forums you may not want to read them everyday, they keep showing with the count but their messages will not be reset, if you have defined the automatic reset of new messages off, until you decide so. That is the same as before when you were changing forum. The addition of the ability to expand or collapse is also another good addition. For example, most members will expand messages of their default forum and collapse the other ones. You can also define the order of priority which is also new.
