It looks to me like the little reset icon still has a few problems. Here's a scenario:

I do a refresh, but don't read everything right away. Then, maybe 15 minutes later, I start reading some of the stuff in the Chatter forum (and there's been a lot lately with all the political stuff <g>). Chatter is *not* one of those Forums that I do an auto-refresh on, so I have the little "reset new messages" icon in the forum title line.

Now, here's the problem:

It seems that if there have been new messages since I last got the messages, then when I hit the reset icon *all* messages are reset, even the ones that haven't been brought down yet. IOW, I've missed reading some of the new messages since they've already been marked as having been read when I hit the reset icon.

Now, I could be wrong about this ... I suppose it's possible that I brought some messages down and forgot to read them (since it was early and I hadn't had my coffee yet <g>), but I don't think that's what happened.

Can you look into this?
