And then they complain that we don't give enough...I really don't care about their complaints anylonger. Let the socialist countries take care of the rest of the world if they want to. Then they can collect taxes from the rest of the world to pay for it all.

>>I agree with less taxes. We need to go back to where we were before WWII. In fact, I believe we should not give foreign aid to any country for any reason. I believe we need to get out of all countries entirely and let them fend for themselves and we will fend for ourselves. If private businessess decide to join forces with businesses in other countries to research for disease prevention, etc that is great. Didn't Osama say in his last message that if we leave him alone then he will leave us alone? :o)

Most are like your ex-SF friend - Republicans on steriods! :0) Mostly because of the Reagan years and what he did for the military and the almost depletion of miltiary assets during the Clinton years. Many don't see it and will argue it nonstop but I saw the lack of training and equipment due to lack of funds during the clinton administration. There is a growing number of Democrats though but not because of the war-it has more to do with benefits for lower income people since as you know the majority of the lower ranks in the military fall into that category. In the middle ranks it is closer 60/30/10 (10 is Libertarians and others). However, the lower ranks do tend to forget that they do get free medical from the military which the average U.S. citizen does not get. By the way, I would have absolutely no problem with free medical (Oh my gosh, did I say social welfare?) for all Americans if all Americans served at least
