I may be wrong here, but I understand that the Gypsys really do not believe in the concept of ownership and property. That cultural difference creates the biggest problem because they do not respect the idea of personal property and will take whatever they want or think they need when they see it. They will park on personal property and not understand it when they are told to leave by the owner. Is that true or is it a misconception? I've actually met a few Gypsies but they could have been lying to me - I really don't know since we do not have a large Gypsy population here. At the time they presented themselves closer to the 60's idea of freedom for all rather than thieves, but in my opinion they were just disregarding the laws because it suited their purpose.
