>Well, I stood in line for an hour and a half at 6:30 this morning and still didn't make it in to vote. Will have to try later on today again. It is really great that so many are getting out to vote -I have never seen lines like this in the past and even early voting sites had long lines everyday. From the news it looks like it is that way around the country. It will be interesting to learn what the 'actual' percentage of voters is when the day is over. Of course, that does not include the votes already cast on the machines when Pennsylvania polls opened up this morning! Wonder how that happened?

My husband went past the polling place about 7:15 and decided the line was too long. He guessed it was about an hour's wait. He'll try again on his way home.

I went around 9:45 and for the first time ever, had to wait more than a couple of minutes. Took about 15 minutes to get to the front of the line (partly because of a couple of disabled voters in line ahead of me, partly turn-out). When I came out, the line was even longer.

I can't remember whether my precinct has 1200 or 1600 voters, but at 10 AM, I was #444. I've gone late afternoon or evening in some elections and had a lower number, so I'd say this left-leaning suburban Philadelphia precinct may well have record turn-out today.
