Well there are multiple things at work. if you do from VFP, the SOAP client will hit the server. As will wwSOAP. Once, on the first hit to initialize. But it may also pull the WSDL out of the cache.

Anyway, .NET does this differenty - it uses the class as the structure definition for the Web service.
