I have a combobox on a form where:

ControlSource is m.comments
RowSourceType is 6-Fields
RowSource is Table_A.Code

I want the user to either select from the table, or enter his own text.

The problem occurs when the user enters his own text. I don't want to add that text to be added to my table; all I want is to have my ControlSource populated with whatever the user entered, and I want that text to remain visible in the combobox when the user moves to another control. (Silly me, I thought that's the way it would work by default!)

Thanks in advance
