LOL! Funny how these elections are becoming "watching party sports". Our family had a great time sitting up and watching last night (of course the eventuality of the outcome helped the mood). We had our almost 10-year old daughter keeping up with the electoral count by coloring in her own map of the States. She also went with my wife to vote. We home school so this was a brilliantly played out opportunity to teach her how this works.

I kind of wish it would wind up 269 to 269 so we could show her how it plays in the House of Reps. If it had, ironically enough, and Texas had not gerrymandered its districts for this election, the Dems would have retained a majority of the Reps, and Bush would have lost Texas in a House vote.
