This reminds me about SNL, I don't know if my memory will serve me well on this one but I think that the sketch was about a "Buckweat" and that character was played by Eddie Murphy. In that sketch he was shot and then you had the reporter on tv saying that Buckweat was shot. Then you had the reporter on the scene saying that Buckweat was shot and then you had a witness there that said that Buckweat was shot and on and on...
I guess that the morale of this is that no matter how much news you have when there is time to fill you do the best you can.
>-Beer and pizza from the place down the street, to drink/eat while watching the returns:
20 bucks>
>-New wide-screen TV to watch the returns:
couple hundred bucks>
>-More beer and pizza because it's gonna be a long night:
another 20 bucks>
>-calling your wireless provider to increase your minutes so that you can talk to your family and friends about who's gonna win:
20 bucks>
>- Turning off all the lights and torturing your two cats by flashing a laser pen all around house...because at 1 AM, anything is better than hearing Dan Rather describe for the hundredth time how many states Kerry needs to win to have a chance:
priceless>
