I'm looking into SQL Server Reporting as a company wide solution.
It works with SQL Server data (of course!) native, via OLDEB and ODBC.
It works with Oracle data (surprise!) native, via OLDEB and ODBC.

It doesn't work with VFP data.
Unless the data is on the same machine that Reporting Services is installed on.

Anyone got any ideas?

When the data is on the RS machine, it only needs 3 permissions: List Folder/Read Data, Read Permissions, Read Extended Attributes.
I've got desperate enough to give FULL permissions to EVERYONE to the server share and folders and it still doesn't work.
