I don't know about him. He seems a little strange to me. I don't think he would appeal to enough of the middle to win. Rudy could win easily because he is "America's Mayor." The media loves him, they obviously love him in NY and the northeast, California would probably split between him and Hillary, but every state Bush has won and probably half of Kerry's would go to Rudy. I don't agree with all his stands and neither does the republican party, so I'm sure he would modify his positions on things like gun control. He is for "gay rights" I'm told. I don't know what that means though. If it means two adults can do what they want in private, I have no problem. If it means I've got to change my beliefs and allow them to be in my face with their "gayness", I've got a real problem. Given the choice between Rudy and Hillary though, it's a no brainer. The safety factor is that the senate and house have to sanction most everything, so you get a check and balance.
