Anyway, What is in Iraq other than OIL? tell me, WMD? well that's a lie as we all know by now. we know the WMD are in N. Korea and Iran soon. what? to bring Democracy to Iraq? please don't make me laugh. the Baath regimes (Syria and Iraq) came to power under US umbrella.

Oil, Iraq sit on the second largest reserve in the world if not teh largest after Saudi Arabia. China and India are growing and they need oil to expand. DO you think that the US will let China to grow to the point where they will surpass teh US power in teh world?? no way, unless a bunch of idiots sit in D.C.. The neo-cons, teh one that have Bush's ear made the this point very clear, directly and indirectly.

What's the difference between Saudi regime and Saddam? Saudi need US protection to survive, Saddam did not.

I was never against toppling Saddam, I hoped it was going to be an inside job and it would have been if Bush knew how to play the pressure. The admin was in total disarray between Chalabi, CIA, the Pentagon, and amateur president. That's why we are in such a mess in Iraq after 1 1/2 year.

I just only hope that in teh second term, Bush will have the decency to admit that he screwed up (at least to his team) because otherwise doing teh same thing it is going to be more messy.
Soon, teh Iraqi election will put the Mullahs and Sunni extremists in power. watch and see
