I'm re-writing an app, originally done in Foxbase 2.0, and one of the things I do there is to occasionally pack the files to get rid of unneeded deleted records. I can see how I can still get deleted records when using MM, so what's the best way to deal with these in the new order? Just have a routine that opens the table directly and packs it, or is there a more politically/OOP correct way?

I'm still using native VFP tables, and VFP 7.
