I don't have any proof on that so I am waiting for it just like everyone else. I'm just not willing to assume that the U.S. is there only for oil or that the U.S. is the majority recipient of the money from Iraqi oil until there is proof that it is so.

There is plenty of information on the web but no actual 'proof' of anything. Mostly what is found is speculation, opinion, and reprinted editorials or government articles. But then it appears that people today don't accept any information from any government or media stories so I doubt there will ever be any information that accepted as factual by all.

It seems that most reports contradict each other (keep in mind that many are editorials and hence require no facts):

>>That is not proof that Bush is only in Iraq for oil...really Chris...

>>>>Ok, the U.S. is guilty of quite a bit and has often times created more problems than they haved solved (which is I why I advocate no foreign involvement and no foreign aid in the future period), but where is the proof of your statement? I have only ever read opinions not fact...

>>>To me, it's the fact that we have appromimately 140,000 troops in Iraq, and 20,000 in Afghaninstan.

>So which Iraqi companies do the drilling? Which Iraqi companies ship it? Which Iraqi companies sell it? How much in terms of taxes goes to Iraqi treasury? And how much of all that money is used to pay for services of American companies?
