This is all very subjective and depends on many factors. I know this is your experience, but our girl goes to a private Baptist school and they are probably a year or two ahead of the public schools. The school's SATs support that. I don't believe that religious education vs public is a good comparison.

>We are fortunate to live in a hood with an upscale school district. Friends from a city west of here, send their children to a "church" school. Thier kids are about 2 years behind the level of children here.
