>Actually you are correct I am not using VFP SP1. I am just using VFP8. I thought I had SP1 on it, but I guess I did not get a chance to load it onto this machine. I will try that and let you know if the problem goes away.

It should. I'm pretty sure that was one of the gotchas pre SP1.
