I'm thinking of adding a feature to our VFP app so it would call clients to remind them about their appointments. The application would dial the person's number and deliver a voice message like "This is a reminder for Henry Smith. You have an appointment with Cindy Bright at 11:30 tomorrow." It would be nice if the application can report on the delivery status: delivered to a person, left on voice mail, or couldn't get through.

The application will have a light load and one line would be enough. Has anyone done something like this with VFP? If so, what hardware and software / SDK did you use and how did it go? TIA.
