Hi, Grigore
After all attempts to kill it Autoplay is still alive and well. Only Shift helps.
Thanks anyway for drawing my attention to MMC.
All the best.

Now find in the right side "Turn off autoplay". Double click the entry. A new window will pop up, showing three settings: "Not configured" (this should be checked by default), Enabled (this will enable a combo that allows you to specify if autorun is disabled only on CD-ROM drives or for all drives) and Disabled.

A moment of silence is our cosmic reset button.
