It's the "Job Market Southern California" thread and it's been a thread about politics almost from the very beginning. I don't believe it's "technical" chatter at all.

We cannot move a thread when its original topic is in regards to the forum. The only time we will move a thread is if its original topic does not relate at all to the current forum, thus it would fit better elsewhere.

I understand that thread has generated into a completely off topic but its base message is about VFP. So, following that rule, we have to keep it in there. It is up to the members to understand and create a new thread if they wish to talk about something else. This one is a complete example of a thread drift but we just can't cut it in the middle and move some of its content elsewhere.
