You are absolutely right about this. I am not really sure if they believe in the rivers full of honey and the virgins. The people who martyr themselves usually don't have much of a life ahead of them. You noticed that Osama was not on any of the planes. It was his pals who he recruited from very poor families.

Even though I am not in love with W, today he was talking about fast tracking the peace process in Israel. He has said this upteen times already but he could have talked about other things and he chose this topic. I have a pretty good insight into the Arab culture because I lived over the for 8 years. Osama is not against "freedom" in the US. He is mad about the US policy in Israel. The wall is not helping either. The Arabs are a bit nuts, when they get mad they stay mad. Like if this thing is not resoved in Isreal, the Arabs will be mad at the Americans 1000 years from now. If things can be worked out (giving back the occupied land would make a big difference) then the Arabs will be happy. They don't enjoy being martyrs one little bit, they would much prefer to sit on their carpets in their tents at night in the desert and drink tea and smoke the hubbly bubbly. So when they are happy you don't have to worry about them.
