I've read your posts. Maybe you should go back over them. Above, your quote seems to imply that we would wind up destroying ourselves by defending ourselves. You see, while it's true there are some things that are grey, it's also true that some things are black and some are white. I can see all three. When it comes to defending my country, I can see it with crystal clarity when someone flies airplanes into the twin towers, pentagon and tries to hit the white house. Those terrorists where loosely linked to Saddam and Iran, and other militant Arabs. Much more so to Al Qaeda and the taliban. I'm in favor of a scorched earth policy against terrorists.

This notion that nothing is black or white, only grey is the problem with liberalism. No one is responsible for anything.
