I am attempting to do a first time install of VFP 8 (the comptuer currently has VFP 7 SP1), and am getting the following message in the first installation dialog (this is the opening dialog which requires you to press 1 Prerequisites before you can press 2 Visual Foxpro):

"Setup has detected that another program requires the computer to reboot. You must reboot the computer before installing Visual FoxPro Prerequisites. Once the system reboots, you need to restart setup. Clock OK to reboot. Click Cancel to exit setup and install later."

The Reboot makes no difference, I get the same dialog the next time.

Any help is appreciated as I am stuck.

I do believe one of the Prerequisites it is trying to install is the SOAP,and the other one is the Setup runtime files. The reason I think this is I was able to get a little further when I rebooted in safe mode. It attemted to install these items, but was not successful in safe mode.
