If all else fails, get a good machine (ummm..one with some anti-virus software installed on it)..make this hard-drive a slave drive in 2nd machine and put it in the 2nd machine - recover what ya can.

Well, the last time XP told me I had a corrupt file I rebooted and now I get the blue screen of death before I'm able to get in and this happens even if I try other login options(normal, safe mode, another option something like "last good configuration" or something) so I can't get in. What are my options? By the way, unfortunately I didn't have an antivirus software on the computer, so maybe a virus?
