Dean,

beg your pardon, I didn't like to state you count somebodys life less. Stupid way of thinking in german, we tend to use questions on places we should say otherwise.

I feel my english is at is end to answer such a tricky question. You put things that should be separated. So I hope on your good will to understand what I mean.

I do not like to have things like your last four sentences in one line.

>I never said anyone's life is worth less. That is why fighting for what you believe is so valuable.
>
>I guess you feel that war is never necessary. And nothing is worth fighting for.

I clearly feel that there is a need to live the live like I believe, and that this idea need to be secured, so it is worth fighting for. But this does at no point include the idea that I force somebody to the things I belive.
This includes that I do not say You should do it in my way.. I will express my ideas, I will argue about under friendly circumstances. And I'm willing to think about someone elses believings.

But that does not mean that I do give up my believings willingly if somebody tend to force me to his belivings.

I don not say that war is never necessary. For example to fight down nazi - germany was necessary. It idea to rule to world and that germans are superior of everybody else was something nobody on his clear mind would bear.
But - I do not think that all germans (a nation that was know for high culture at this time ) woke up one morning and feel superior. It needs a long time to place the lies and make people believing them.

The occupation of a country that never harm mine does not count under that.

If somebody uses my believings to force me to a fight, "Qui bono?" is first question. Normaly I comes out that it serves me and my ideas wrong.

>>I do not see any qualitative differnce between sending teenaagers to die or anybody else. Or do you feel that the life of older people is worth less? No reasonable politican would send anybody to die - but this declares why "reasonable" and "politican" shouldn stand together.
