I think so it's about job markets and viewpoints. In poor countries scientists are not so much important. In poor countries money is the most important. Actually that is a wrong viewpoint. I know an important scientist who is writing programs for live in a poor country.
Than your viewpoint is wrong. If she lives in USA I'm sure she works in a research center with a good salary.
>Perhap she should put on her resume only things that apply to the job description. She doesn't need to tell them everything about her intelligentce. That way she'll probably be seen as being "normal" applicant.
