i agree with you.

The only way in order to take advantage of the DELETED() flag
in the indices is that one to improve VFP:
- if SET('DELETED')==' ON'
then, when VFP optimizes a command, VFP uses the indices like this:

 INDEX ON keyexp FOR !DELETED() 

else, apply current VFP rules.
