>Did you send Andy an e-mail? I think that the last one he got from you gave him the impression that you had been made redundant.
I was, then re-employed at £15K less, 27% pay cut really hurt!!

> He sent you a couple of e-mails after that because we were concerned about how you were doing, but we never got a repsonse.
I don't think they every arrived. Unless they got caught in a spam filter and autoatically deleted.
I got a reply to my latest.

>Sounds like you are busy busy busy.
MAke-work to appear busy so they don't make me redundant again.

>Are you still spending a lot of time in Germany?
Germany did not pay their IT bill and so we stopped doing all work for them.
So beign the German account manager was a dead-end job :(
It was decided that we were doing no international expansion, that's why my role became redundant.

>Will you be at RainerFest? If you will, please send everyone our warmest regards. I am sooooooooooooooooooooo disappointed that we had to miss Frankfurt this year!
We won't be there this year :(
Because we are not doing VFP. I am not sure if I'll go again.
Certainly the company will not pay for it.
It's too expensive just for a holiday!

We're just starting on the administration of my father's estate. He died 8th October and it's taken this long to find most of the bank accounts and stuff. Looks like we owe Inland Revenue (dept of thieving bastards) around 138K, which hurts. You can't do much about mitigating IHT post-mortem.
I reckon about 4 months we'll have everything tied up and cleared.

MEANEWHILE
The company was bought by a new investor/owner.
About 30% redundancies/resignations - don't know who was pushed/jumped.
The company is moving to Basingstoke.
IT is being slowly outsourced, with a buy not build policy.
We are filling up with contractors brought in by the new owner.
While some who know the company are not being retained.
Interesting times ...
