God, the Wartburg! One of my teachers used to have one - the ugliest car in the world. Ran on 2-3 cylinders didn't it - 2-stroke?

Yeah the Musc. was like a tank. Don't recall the Volga, except on spy films. Never saw one in the UK. Incidentally, it's only in recent years that stretch limos have caught on in the UK. In my home town they now take up 3 pages in Yellow pages. One night recently I saw more at a town party venue than ever in my life, in one place, including NY. I believe they're also hired for sex cruises. Yuck!
