Yeah, this thinks happend when somebody pretend that the programa can be smart...

However, the solution is:

Click in Add a existen item (onto the project), then select the item (errr.. file) then look at the Open button, have a arrow, click here (say link file or something like).

The file is "linked" and not imported. Work well that way....
