Not really sure of the number you mention. It looks like there's only one party of "we'll support anyone who gives us enough money to campaign against the other wing, but you should know our standards are high, we already own a lot", which is perceived as divided into a royalist (i.e. non-republican) and oligarchic (i.e. non-democratic) pair of blocks.

Pepsi and Coke have the same color, use the same sweeteners, and generally keep you away from fruit juice. Their internal differences are just a matter of perception.
