They are fringe. Many ultra-conservatives feel that we should never get involved in anything outside our borders. No wars, but also no aid either. Most of the conservatives are more towards the right-center of the bell curve. This group is forming their own bell curve so far to the right that they're almost coming in from the left.

>So it's suddenly not just the liberals, or the Europeans, or the Canadians, or everyone else who "just doesnt' get it". It's coming from the founder of one of the most conservative organizations in the U.S. And the Heritage Foundation doesn't exactly fall under the title of "liberal press".

>>>Think it's just the liberals in the U.S. and around the world who are against the war in Iraq? Be careful conservatives, as you are about to get attacked from your own right flank:

>>>On Thursday, Paul Weyrich, founder of the Heritage Foundation and chairman of the Free Congress Foundation, issued a call to conservatives for a serious debate about the administration's foreign policy. "The consequences of the neocons' adventure in Iraq are now all too clear," he said. "America is stuck in a guerrilla war with no end in sight. Our military is stretched too thin to respond to other threats. And our real enemies, nonstate organizations such as Al Qaeda, are benefiting from the Arab and Islamic backlash against our occupation of an Islamic country."

>>>For those of you unfamiliar with the Heritage Foundation, they're about as conservative as you get.

>>>Spin away.
