True, but I prefer to be safe rather than sorry and not allow multiple checkouts for anything. That said, it should be qualified with the facts that in my development department there are only 3 developers: 1 maintaining FP2.5 DOS apps and myself and the other one developing new VFP5 apps. So, we are pretty much on top of what the others are working on and with the current workload wouldn't have multiple developers working on the same file at the same time. This approach may not be as practical in a larger development team though.
