We had good success using PDFGrabber (http://www.pdfgrabber.com) to save to Excel and I know it converts to Word as well.

>Ok, I got a columnar pdf document whose data I need to copy/paste into another file (this is a long list that is gonna be printed in a magazine).It seems that is very hard to copy/paste from a columnar pdf file unlike If did it from a word document. So, I need a software that could convert my files into word docs without losing the original format (columns) or some sort of plug-in that allowed me to save my files as word documents. Currently, I am working with Mac OSx but even solutions for windows might help. So far I've tried a lot of converters but none of them have worked...
