It needs to be Style DropDown List. Also the speed you type is governed by the _DBLCLICK setting. My base cbo class, bumps the setting up to 1.0 in the GotFocus() and restores it in the LostFocus().

>I'm using VisualFoxPro v3.0 and have followed the sparse instructions in manual / help to make the incremental search property work such that typing in a combo box will make it home in on the nearest match from the list. (ie. typing the first few characters of company name to home in on the customer rather than using the mouse) I've tried several different rowsources (alias, array, sql) and am stumped. Is there a magical combination? or is this a bug in vfp3.0?
