>I shamed my humanity. Damn!..
I see no reason to be ashamed. We (humanity) have been eating all kinds of animals for centuries; it is just that we are accustomed to eat certain animals, but not others.
Thus, some people that have been eating cows all their lives find it disgusting if someone eats a horse; but in theory, I don't see so much difference between the two animals.
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
