I'm back - (After all, one can't snowboard in CO. all year long!). I'm working on porting a multitier WAN deployed MUMPS database to VFP 5.0 with InterSystem corp. Cache (MUMPS) as the backend. I am curious to see if any other UT members have used MUMPS with VFP? The ODBC driver works fine but I'm not tapping the true WAN transactional horsepower of MUMPS. (Translation - ODBC is soooo slow) Has anyone used VFP to communicate via datagrams - TCP/IP to database servers? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
