I like Borislav's idea and hope it works for what you need. By the way if you place the cursor of your mouse on your report form in Modify mode and right click you can then select Data Environment. If you have no Data Environment it will be blank.

My preference is to never use a Data Environment on a report. This gives me more flexibility or at least I would like to think so. I always use a SQL Select Cursor to provide data for my reports. There are many ways to write code that works! :)
