If that were true, then the authors of the Constitution would not have included a means for amending it. There is also no place in the Constitution or Bill of Rights where what you claim is true. The Constitution as written is brilliant in that it includes articles for amending it based on the changing times, needs, oversites, omissions, etc.

We have no clue what it was like to live back then, during the Revolution, or even during the Salem Witch Trials. We know how they lived, what they had, did not have, etc. They at least had the foresight to know that our new Nation would continue to evolve and allowed for change whether it be knowledge, tolerances, "enlightment", technology, etc.
