>I ate one burger in these five years here, and that was within the first five hours on American soil. I went to McDonalds two more times later, only to get coffee, because they were the only place with coffee within my reach at the moment. Never been to Burger King, either.
I was forced to eat McDonalds on a recent visit to Canada (so's not to appear churlish to my hosts). It stuck in my craw (almost litrerally). That was the 1st time since the early 1980's. And I too have never eaten a BK (although they do appeal to me). It's the cutting down the rainforest to grow beef thing that [puts me off.
