Let me explain what I am trying to accomplish in my program and may be I can use
your product.
In my 2.6 FoxPro application I was using SilverFox tool to read data from the serial port that was uploaded from the scanner. I am looking for the product that can work with the VFP, capable to read data from the serial port and ideally have a function that can read characters. I am using Symbol P360 scanner, when I put it on the cradle (attached to the serial port) data from the scanner is uploaded. Setting for the serial port as follows:
Baud rate=9600
Parity = Even
Data Bits=7,
Stop Bits=2
