I wondered that as well. Same thing whether I open the table in the Load Event or the Init Event. Now, I see that even the forms created with the wizard doesn't work exactly right. In the form I built using the wizard, until you force the the pointer to move, the Add/Edit/Delete buttons don't work. Once one of the navigation buttons have been clicked, then they work. Sounds like the same problem as my homemade forms.

I've zapped the resource file and checked for any stray temp files, but still the problem exists.

I even excluded the forms from the project but they still do not work properly when the project is run as an exe.
