Craig,

>You can't. Due to a bug in Crystal Reports 9, the ability to dynamically load pictures this way doesn't work with VFP. It does, however, work with VB. You may be able to create a DLL in VB that will do this for you and call it from the report.

Not having used CR9, are you sure you cannot use EVENTHANDLER() to capture the format event in the RDC to a VFP object? I've been doing that in both CR 8.5 and in CR10 and use the FormattedPicture property to replace the thing ?

Walter,

>>Hi:

>>I have a CR-9 report that I would like to have JPG files print at the end of the report as an attachment (subreport). I have stored the full path and file name to a field in the DBF. I can display a single picture as a link, but have not been able to change the link to the new path & file name for the next picture. Could not even find anything in Craigs book. <s>
>>
>>How can I get CR to use the full path and file name stored in the field and display the associated picture. Does anyone have a formula example they would be willing to share.
