Hello All;
I am working with tables approximately 1 gigabyte in size, give
or take a mega!! My problem is that I have to run an SQL on
the table that orders it for another application to use.

Select * from datafile order by field1 into table xyz

How much Hard Drive do I need for this to function? Where
do the buffer sit? in memory or hard drive or both?
We've already decided to run this off a PC as opposed to
off a server in order to speed up the process.
