I'm not 100% sure what your question is. When I pull that XML into a DataSet, I get 18 tables. DataSet.Tables[8].TableName is "Worksheet". And it looks like to me that each "node" (as you're calling them) has a related table that is the worksheet for that node? Does this spreadsheet have a WorkSheet for each of these nodes?

I don't know a whole heckuva lot about Excel with .NET (we're doing stuff with it in our app, but it's not been my area and so I haven't worked with it) ... but I guess I don't really understand what you're trying to ask.
