>>>>Here in Georgia we've had Pat Swindall <vbg>, Mitch Skandalakis (maybe the names should tip people off), and now Linda Shrenko, all stalwart Republicans and fine Christian folk caught stealing and lying. One can't forget that lion of the Republican revolution, Newt, who was busy having an affair with an intern while impeaching the President for having an affair with an intern. Sanctity of marriage, yeah right!

Wonder what kind of pressure was applied? Of course Neil's wife tried to speak out during the election cycle about the party boys, but the GOP slime machine made her look like another crazy and bitter ex-wife.

>>>So, you are making my point. When they do those things, you shouldn't admire them. As for accusations, that's a whole different ball of wax. I don't think there was any debate on whether or not Hillary made the hundred grand. There's been no proof on W as far as I have seen. However, there have been many attempts to manufacture proof (Michael Moore, Dan Rather, et al). I respect W and have nothing but contempt for Billary.

>>Nah, I didn't make your point. I pointed out that the people you admire are just as sleazy and comtemptible as those that you do not admire.

>Typical liberal

All the grade-school playground name calling aside, what is a typical liberal? Can you define this person for me? For I have the feeling from reading your writings in this forumn that I am not a typical liberal, or for that matter, a typical anything.

If you fall into the trap of generalizing people for the sake of a put down, then there can be no discourse or understanding. Without discourse and understanding we lock ourselves into being less than we can be, and all who would supress the free expression and interchange of ideas, be they left or right, are just petty tyrants. Certainly not worthy of the mantle handed down from those who proposed and brought forth this country.
Opportunity is missed by most people beacuse it is dressed in overalls, and looks like work --- Thomas Edison
