I cant change the ALINE to an Mline as I am not running it against a memo field. I need to separate a character string into separate parts. E.g:
lnRtn = ALINES(ArrLotNo,lcLotNums,.T.,',',';',' AND ','&')

I reported the error, but if it is not fixed in VFP9 then it is probably too late to get it fixed. I really hate C00005 errors as they are hard to reproduce and when they bite you it is always at the worst time.


>I confirm this bug. My VFP8 SP1 application (running 24x7) using Aline() crashed in C5 error about once or twice a day. Finally I replaced Aline() with a Mline() and _Mline routine.
