Thanks, Sergey. You got me pointed in the right direction. I found that in MS-SQL 2000 you can set the collation to a case insensitive setting for a new database. The default is that it will take the setting for the current installation of MS-SQL but you can change it when you set up a new database. I chose the Latin_General_CI_AI which works and I don't have to worry about the case sensitivity for my application when I add it to an existing MS-SQL instance.
