Hi Craig,

>One other reason I just thought of for moving to CR 9.0. It can be installed side-by-side with pervious versions of Crystal Reports. Versions 8.5 and earlier do not have that capability.

I know, but it generally is not a problem. If your application runs on 8.5 others can run 9 or 10. IF others require a prior version to 8.5 then those other applications have a problem as they'd have to deal with 8.5 (As most installers won't overwrite newer versions automatically).

But in theory you're right if other applications use any version prior to 8.5 you might have a problem (thoug it mostly means the other software has a problem requiring a prior version)

This is on of the reasons I went for CR10, but I was disappointed to learn it did not run on Win9.x . In first instance I wanted to downdrade to CR9 until I learned about your problem using the enventhandler function. It is such a shame that a great product like crystal reports seems to have serious issues in most of its versions.

Walter,
